BBR01 Kinabalu National Park & Poring Hotsprings

Itinerary

Sited at the foothill of Mt. Kinabalu, the park is known for the abundance and diversity of its plant life, within one of the most ancient vegetation in the world. A guided trail walks will be conducted by the Park Ranger to gain some informative and educational insights on the Park flora and fauna.

After National Park, proceed direct to Poring Hot Springs. The Hot Springs, first developed by the Japanese during WWII, now feature several open air Japanese-style baths. Take a dip to rest your tired feet and aching muscles. The water contains sulphur, known for its curative properties for curing skin problems. At the Poring Hot Spring if you are brave enough walk along the swaying tree top canopy walkway, which is the tallest in Malaysia.

Things to bring:
Insect repellent, hat, binocular and sun screen (sweat proof). Use good walking shoes and comfortable cotton t-shirt with long or short pants.
